Polylactic acid (PLA) is a new type of bio-based and renewable biodegradable material, which is made from starch raw materials proposed by renewable plant resources (such as corn, cassava, etc.).  Starch raw materials by saccharification to get glucose, and then from glucose and a certain strain fermentation to make high purity lactic acid, and then through chemical synthesis method to synthesize poly (lactic acid) with a certain molecular weight.  It has good biodegradability. After use, it can be completely degraded by the microorganisms in nature under certain conditions, and become carbon dioxide and water for life. It does not pollute the environment, which is very beneficial to the protection of the environment, and is recognized as environmentally friendly material.
